In previous Tea & Thought sessions, we explored the world of ancient Greece and reflected on ideas such as living authentically and striving toward a better version of oneself.
But history does not move forward through freedom alone.
As freedom expands, societies eventually begin to seek order.
Rome, which emerged after ancient Greece, was a civilization that confronted this question directly.
The focus shifted from
“How should an individual live?”
to
“How can many people live together within a stable society?”
Through the Roman emphasis on law, discipline, and governance, this session will explore the balance between freedom and social order — while reflecting on how these questions continue to shape our lives today.

Tea & Thought is not a lecture on the history of philosophy, and not about taking notes or memorizing ideas.
Instead, it offers a calm yet thoughtful space for open dialogue — where we can observe, question, and reflect together on ideas that have shaped the modern world.
Whether you are drawn to classical culture, interested in philosophy, or simply looking for a slow and meaningful conversation, we would be delighted to have you join us.
☕ Come with a cup of tea, a bit of curiosity, and an open mind — and let’s explore timeless ideas together.
