What does it mean to live a good life?
In a fast-moving world, we rarely pause to reflect on this question. We move from one task to another, often without the space to truly think about what matters.
Tea & Thought is a small, quiet space to slow down.
On a Sunday afternoon in Tokyo, we gather in a circle to share ideas, listen to different perspectives, and explore meaningful questions together — over a warm cup of tea.
This session will be conducted in simple English.
You do not need perfect English to join. What matters is your willingness to think, to share, and to listen.
We will explore questions such as:
What makes a life meaningful?
Is happiness enough?
What gives life a sense of purpose?
There are no right or wrong answers.
Only honest thoughts, open conversation, and a respectful space for everyone.
Whether you speak a lot or just listen, you are welcome.

Tea & Thought is not a lecture on the history of philosophy, and not about taking notes or memorizing ideas.
Instead, it offers a calm yet thoughtful space for open dialogue — where we can observe, question, and reflect together on ideas that have shaped the modern world.
Whether you are drawn to classical culture, interested in philosophy, or simply looking for a slow and meaningful conversation, we would be delighted to have you join us.
☕ Come with a cup of tea, a bit of curiosity, and an open mind — and let’s explore timeless ideas together.
