EUDAIMONIA: VIRTUE, HONOR & A FULFILLING LIFE
Ancient Greece is a civilization that has profoundly shaped Western thought and society.
In previous sessions, we explored its world through the lenses of history and mythology.
In this fourth session, we focus on the concept of Eudaimonia—often translated as “happiness” or “well-being,” but more deeply concerned with how we live and what it means to live well.
Through figures such as Helen and Achilles, we will reflect on the meanings of virtue and honor, and consider what it is to live a fulfilling life.
Rather than a lecture, this session will take the form of a dialogue-based discussion.
By engaging with different perspectives, we aim to deepen our understanding together.
This session is open to anyone interested in philosophy, history, or simply a thoughtful conversation.
