On Sunday 15th December we held another fun and exciting one day cooking class event! This time it's everyone's beloved dish from Thailand, the Gapao rice! Gapao rice is a popular Thai dish featuring stir-fried minced meat (usually chicken or pork) with basil, garlic, chili, and soy or oyster sauce, served over steamed rice. Often topped with a fried egg, it delivers a spicy, savory, and fragrant flavor profile that's both comforting and bold.
For this cooking class, we invited Jam-sensei from Thailand who has been working in Thai restaurant in Japan for 4 years! She provided a very informative and easy to follow instruction on how to properly cook Gapao rice!
