MOU Signing Ceremony 

with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember

July 20th, 2023 - Non-Profit Organization MPKEN, Alpha Japanese Language Institute, Technobridge NKE Co., Ltd, and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Join Forces to Cultivate Kakehashis between Japan and Indonesia.

[Tokyo, Japan] - A collaboration has been forged as Non-Profit Organization MPKEN, Alpha Japanese Language Institute, Technobridge NKE Co., Ltd, and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) come together through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote cooperation in human resource development. 

The signing ceremony for this MOU took place on July 20th at the Alpha Japanese Language Institute, symbolizing the commitment of all parties to empower Indonesian students in becoming invaluable bridges between Japan and Indonesia through Japanese language education and technical training.

Recognizing the significance of fostering cultural exchange and strengthening ties between the two nations, this partnership brings together four organizations, each contributing unique expertise to the initiative:

1. Non-Profit Organization MPKEN: Committed to empowering youth through education and skill development, MPKEN aims to cultivate a generation of global citizens who catalyze positive change and contribute to society's advancement.

2. Alpha Japanese Language Institute: A prestigious institution renowned for excellence in Japanese language education, Alpha strives to provide students with top-notch language training and cultural immersion opportunities.

3. Technobridge NKE Co., Ltd: A reputable firm specializing in technical training and knowledge exchange in infrastructure and construction, NKE plays a crucial role in bridging the skills gap and promoting workforce development.

4. Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS): A distinguished university with a focus on science, engineering, and technology education, ITS is dedicated to nurturing highly skilled professionals who significantly contribute to Indonesia's progress.

The MOU signifies a comprehensive commitment to cooperation, including the exchange of information in areas of mutual interest. The primary goal of this partnership is to promote Japanese language education and technical training for Indonesian students, empowering them to become "kakehashis," meaning the ones who bridge between Japan and Indonesia.

They emphasized the immense potential of nurturing a cohort of kakehashis who will facilitate collaboration, promote cross-cultural understanding, and drive progress between Japan and Indonesia.

Mr. Tanaka Toshihiko, Executive Director of Non-profit Organization MPKEN, stated after the signing ceremony: "MPKEN is thrilled to embark on this significant journey alongside esteemed partners.
